reflection on commercial

I really enjoyed making the commercial. It was so fun to make up our own product and try to make people buy it. I think we should do more projects like this because they are fun and we are actually learning something. I cant wait to watch everyones commercials and finish the board room essay. 

news paper ad

My news paper ad is going to about Dr. Pepper. My news paper ad is going to be colorful and I am going to include a $3.00 off a box of Dr.Pepper soda cans, coupon in the news paper ad. I will also include all of the good things about Dr. Pepper in my ad and mention that Dr. Pepper is better then coke or pepsi. I will also say that Dr. Pepper is a T.V stars  or athlete favorite soda to drink so that the readers will be persuaded into buying this soda because their favorite actor or athlete also likes to drink it. I will also add a picture of a can of Dr. Pepper in the ad to show readers what to look for in stores.

holiday traditions

For Christmas every year me and my family alternate between my nanas house and my grandmas house. This year I am going to my grandmas house. My favorite holiday tradition is sitting around the Christmas tree and drink hot chocolate. I hope that I get a new lap top for Chirstmas this year because the one that I have now is broke and it barley turns on. I still beleive in Santa Claus and most of my friends do too. I love the feeling of waking up and seeing all of those presents under the tree and my stocking filled all the way to he top.

getting to know me

When i first saw Ms. Carrol i thought she was going to be really nice and she is. She is also really funny and sarcastic just like Mrs. Patolano. I also really like her hair. My favorite subject in school is Science. I really like to Dance. My favorite color is blue. I like to be called Julie or Jules. Some of my friends are Jess, Jordan, Ashley, and Searra. My favorite holiday is Christmas. My birthday is June 7th. 

holiday traditions

My favorite holiday is Christmas because it is a time for family to get together and have a nice dinner. My holiday wish is to get better grades so that I can fufill my dream of being a marine biologist. Every year my family and I alternate between holidays. So one year we will go to my nana's house for Christmas and go to my grandma's house for Thanksgiving and the next year we will do the oppisite. I also want it to snow on Chirstmas day or Christmas eve. For Christmas I really want a new lap top because the one that I have does not work very well and I need a good quality lap top to do my school work on.

My dog Jazzmine

I came home from school on a Tuesday and ran into the backyard to find my dad to ask him about my dog Jazzmine. When I asked what the doctors had said he said that my dog has genetic kidney disease and will not live as long as we thought that she would. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes.I ran inside to find my dog. She was laying down half asleep. I picked her up and brought her upstairs into my room. As lay there with Jazzmine I remembered when we first got her. We went to where the puppies are dropped off (the cargo area). We literally waited there for about seven hours! When they called our names to come up to the counter to get our puppy we all got excited and ran over. When they pointed to the cage that our new puppy was in we looked and the puppy was jumping up and down as if she knew that we were her new owners/family. When my mom got home from work I asked her if our family knew about Jazzmine and her disease but she said no so i decided to call them  and tell them. When I called up my cousins they said not to worry and maybe a miracle would happen. That made me feel so much better. I also remembered when my nanas dog passed away. It was about 17 years old and the people who were painting the house left the gate open and the dog got out. Unfortounalty he got hit by a car. Now I know how my nana felt.
     I cherrish the time that I have left with my dog Jazzmine. I spend as much time with her as I can. My sister who is eight years old plays just a little too rough with my dog. She is a small puppy so you have to be gentle , I would tell her. She never listens. When my dog Jazzmine passes away I will of course miss her very much and so will my family. She will always be in our hearts my parents tell me and my sister.

Are you proud of your country?

     Are you proud of your country? Are you someone that would do anything to keep your rights and freedom? I defiantly am. In America we all celebrate the fourth of July which is the day that we fought the British for independence. In 1776 Ben Franklin signed the declaration.

     The American flag represents the freedom of America. The colors that are on the flag are red, blue, and white. There are fifty stars on the flag to represent the fifty states. There is an American flag in every classroom in every school in America. Every morning all students say the pledge of allegiance. “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible and justice for all”.

     In Philadelphia Pennsylvania there is the liberty bell, which cracked when it was first rung after the arrival in Philadelphia. The liberty bell symbolizes America’s freedom from Britain. It is named the liberty bell because of the freedom it symbolized to our country.

     What I like about America is that we have freedom. I also like that we have the right to say what we want. I like that we have can wear what kind of shirts, pants, shoes, jewelry, and make-up we want and also have different hair colors and styles. I like that every kid gets an education, and is able to be whatever religion they want. I like that when you are the age of eighteen or older you can vote for who you want to be president, mayor, and/or governor. I also like that you can have any pet you want. I also like that you can have any kind of job that you want, like cooking, teaching, singing, or dancing. I like that you can marry who ever you want, and be friends with who ever you want.

     This proves that I am proud of my country. I love living in America because we have freedom and rights. I would do anything to keep that freedom and those rights for a very long time.

Halloween

 This Halloween I am being a dead person from the army.I like Halloween because I like being scared.On Halloween night me and my friends go trick-or treating and get a lot of candy.On Halloween on a street there is a haunted house.I went in there a couple years ago and it was really really scary.There were fake dead bodies everywhere with fake blood and saws and knifes.I was screaming on every corner that I turned.The day before Halloween me and my family carve pumpkins and put the outside.We also decorate the front yard with some scary things.

Hello,my name is Julie.My favorite color is blue.When I hang out with my friends i  like to hang out at the mall.I live with my mom, dad, and little sister who is eight years old and is in third grade. I have a dog she is nine months old and her name is Jazzmine. I take dance classes.When i'm bored I like to either read,play outside,or watch T.V. My favorite food is  tacos.My favorite subject is Science.So far I am enjoying Middle School.The hard part is getting to class on time.
